PERA WILLIAMS cantante-armonicista dopo diversi anni di carriera , di cui alcuni passati con la band canadese “The Muddytones”, decide finalmente di incidere un album tutto suo : pensato e arrangiato insieme ai fidi “Muchachos” , la nuova band che accompagna Pera Williams : Polly Johnson, chitarre elettriche e slide, Leo Torricelli alla batteria, e il produttore Martin Iotti al basso, questo album dal titolo “ Mezcal ! “ ci trasporta in quelle atmosfere tipiche dei club e dei bar dove Pera Williams si è sempre esibito per anni e come cita lui stesso: “… il pubblico deve ascoltare, ballare, sognare e divertirsi e perché no commuoversi…” . Pera Williams y sus Muchachos propongono quell’houserockin’ blues che è la miscela tra il blues, il rock’n’roll, il rhythm’n’blues, lo swing, il new-orleans style. Pera Williams ha vinto il premio come miglior cantante-armonicista del 2005 al “Gran Galà della Musica, gli Oscar del blues”.
